My Catering Portfolio has launched
My Catering Portfolio has been developed and signed off! Our first group of
students have nearly completed their 5 week course. Thereare currently 7 people enrolled on MCP, 3 of them Tyler Brandon and James will be joining Fairway as BDE Apprentices, they will be located at our offices in Sutton Coldfield and will be out for 1 day a week at Bourneville College. The aim will be for them to assist in the delivery of My Catering Portfolio over the next 12 months.
The program is delivered over a 5 week period and includes Employability, Preparing to Work, Conflict Management, Customer Service, Emergency First Aid at Work, Health & Safety, Manual Handling and Food Safety Level 2. All of the above are delivered with hands on training and some essential inside experience. Hospitality is the UK’s 4th largest industry delivering 53 billion annually to UK economy, the programme provides all of the qualifications needed that big company’s such as Handpicked Hotels, Mitchells and Butlers, Aston Villa FC and many more have chosen for us to deliver. We take candidates to various hotels and restaurants so that they can meet the managers and grasp the true experience of busy environments!
We also offer training to smaller businesses. We train staff over 6 days and the company can choose exactly which training we provide and how many days a week we provide training for. The course is a perfect opportunity to keep staff engaged and improve the skills they already have.
We are currently looking for candidates to kick start their career in Hospitality by taking part in the next My Catering Portfolio. Candidates need a great personality, a good attitude and a desire to be here 5 days a week to make a difference within the hospitality industry. Our key is that our partners are waiting for us to provide them with the stars of the future!
