Fairway bowl charity over with cricket match in their honour

Fairway headed to the fantastic grounds of Wormsley Cricket Club on Friday 17th May for the annual charity cricket day hosted by Under the Posts, to support the Lillywhite Foundation.

The Lillywhite Foundation looks to support projects that help young people. Their regular fundraising lunches, dinners, and other events are designed to raise funds to support projects that help young people that are living in difficult, and, or troubled social circumstances, and, or those living in financial hardship. Any donation, no matter what size, can help to change some young people’s lives for the better and Fairway are proud to annually support this wonderful charity for an important cause.

The team got to take part in a brilliant day of 8 a side cricket and had the pleasure of being captained by former New Zealand rugby union player, Craig Newby. It turned out to be a successful day of ‘friendly’ cricket with the team finishing 3rd, but an even better day for the charity with many guests in attendance to support this great cause.

We are delighted to have supported a worthy charity and take part in a memorable day, raising essential funds which will have a positive impact on young people in need.
