I Care… Ambassadors Week
Fairway Homecare and Training are taking part in this year’s “I Care… Ambassadors Week” from 10th-14th February 2014. During this week “I Care… Ambassadors” help promote careers in adult social care and provide opportunities for people involved in the sector to meet Ambassadors to strengthen relationships with key contacts.
Award winning Fairway Homecare and Training will be guests at this year’s “Young People’s Conference” being held as part of “I Care….Ambassadors Week” at the New Vic Theatre organised by Staffordshire’s Carematch. The event is for young people to find further information on how they can develop a career within Health & Social Care. The “Young Peoples Conference” will take place between 13th-14th February and learners will complete the Working with Dignity Award and gain knowledge of the Social Care sector from individuals who have great knowledge and experience. During the two days they will carry out exercises that involve: Dignity Standards, The Current Code of Conduct/Practice, Relationship Maps, Person Centred Planning and Communication Methods. Various companies will be there exhibiting and holding workshops with the young learners.
Our Lead Trainer at Fairway Training will be taking part in workshops with the young learners and Fairway Homecare will be on hand to talk to students about a career with Fairway Homecare, Fairway Healthcare and Fairway Apprenticeships in Health & Social Care.
