Fairway Training growing from strength to strength
Fairway Training (Healthcare) has been award the prestigious Matrix standard following a rigorous two-day assessment.
The Matrix Standard is a unique quality standard for organisations to assess and measure their advice and support services, which ultimately supports individuals in their choice of career, learning, work and life goals.
The assessor looked at leadership and management, resources, service delivery and continuous quality improvement.
The sought-after accreditation places Fairway Training on a list of highly regarded training providers that also includes colleges and major universities.
The assessor, Carol Probyn, stated in her report;
‘The ‘USP’ of Fairway Training is one of its biggest strengths and that is the link with Fairway Group companies which provides the job opportunity element of MCP and also a network of employers to which learners can be signposted on completion of the programme.”
This has resulted in a very impressive 89% progression into employment rate over the last 2 years.
The assessor was also very impressed by the Learner Mentors roles, stating that they;
‘proved to be a positive addition to the service and is becoming a real strength for Fairway Training. The Learning Mentors are experienced care sector workers who support potential learners and learners throughout the engagement and learning journey.’
This has capped a very successful quarter for Fairway Training, which saw the company being awarded a number of publicly funded training contracts and success in joining the prestigious Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers.
Alex O’Neill, Operations Director commented “The Matrix process was invaluable in making us reflect inward and outwardly in what we actually do and how we capture crucial information and measure ourselves. It brought the team together and created many positive situations where we discussed and reviews best practice. We engaged with learners and pulled a lot of information together which definitely provided a solid foundation for us to continue to grow and develop the entire service. The process was thought provoking as well as motivating and is a great motivational platform to continue to improve.”
