Fairway Homecare & Fairway Training Sponsor Bournville Student Awards
Bournville College held the first ever Student Awards evening on 7th November to celebrate the achievements of students at the Town Hall, Birmingham.
Students, staff, employers and sponsors were all invited to share in the occasion. Twenty five students won awards on the evening including; Career Academy Student of the Year Award, Rising Star Award, Employer Award and the coveted Principal’s Award amongst others. The event showcased and recognised the achievements of students and their hard work and determination. Fairway Training sponsored the International Student of the Year Award and Fairway Homecare sponsored Apprentice of the Year Award.
Norman Cave, Bournville College Principal commented “At Bournville College we pride ourselves on giving students opportunities to study subjects they may not have tried before as well as the chance to grow and develop so that they are prepared for their next step, whether this is university or starting out in the next stage of their career. Each year our students go on to achieve great things and last night is just a small recognition of the talent that we grow and develop at Bournville College.”
Fairway Training’s Laura Leeson and Fairway Homecare Gillian Simpson presented the awards to the following winners on the night.
