Fairway get musical!
Fairway partnered with Victoria McCabe on the Sweethearts and Legends Tour in September to entertain 
the residents of our residential and nursing home clients around Birmingham.
Victoria McCabe in her one woman show brings 50 minutes of all singing, all dancing, high energy, sparkling, friendly entertainment, bringing forward the skills she has gained to entertain those who are currently unable to attend the theatre.

The Sweethearts and Legends show brings the West End high quality performance and energy straight to the care home for all residents to enjoy. The show features well known songs made famous by the likes of Doris Day, Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, The Ronettes, Elvis Presley, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.

Age UK research suggests “The power of music, especially singing, to unlock memories and kickstart the grey matter is an increasingly key feature of dementia care. It seems to reach parts of the damaged brain in ways other forms of communication cannot.”
It was great to see faces light up and residents really enjoy themselves, remembering special memories. Resident feedback from the 12 shows was “Victoria made the sun shine again on this gloomy day” and “The show was wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed it and want to hear more!”
