Information Day Description:
This information day is suitable to Care Home Managers, Training Managers or anyone who has responsibility of the induction training of health & social care staff.
In March 2015 the requirements for induction training for health and social care staff will be changing with the implementation of the Care Certificate set to replace the existing Common Induction Standards and National Minimum Training Standards, the new Care Certificate brings with it additional areas not covered within the existing training requirements; but a new requirement to observe competence within the workplace in order for the Care Certificate to be awarded and induction to be signed off.
Join us to look at the requirements of the new Care Certificate looking at the training areas covered and methods of delivery along with its implementation and carrying out the work based competency assessments.
