Over the next 5 months, we are continually going to source learners in domiciliary care, home care, nursing as well as office based role.”

“It has had a real impact on the standard business model; we haven’t stopped recruiting and it is currently our main resource for our recruitment. During the four week course, learners are given fundamental experience, given opportunities to up skill and therefore removing the barriers to entry in the care industry. The feedback so far has been great and the interest just keeps on growing. We are now looking to start the next stage of our partnership with Bournville College to offer sector based programmes and offering more people the chance to gain fundamental experience and jobs in the care sector”, added Alex.

“The course is great; the trainers are brilliant, relatable, informative and knowledgeable. Upon completion of the course, I was given medication training and given shifts that very same day! I really enjoy working in the care home environment and I would definitely recommend the course. Fairway Homecare listened to my needs, where I wanted to be and I have received great feedback from clients so far – I’m very happy”, commented Shannelle.
