Age Concern Birmingham – Fairway feeling festive
Fairway staff have done their good deed for Christmas by donating food hampers to Age Concern Birmingham. Throughout 
November and the start of December, the Fairway team kindly collected a variety of foods to put into hampers to help the elderly out over the Christmas period.
Age Concern Birmingham helps to improve the lives of thousands of older people across Birmingham every year. Without their work many of these people would struggle to heat their homes, put food on the table and have many of the things that we often take for granted. Many older people in today’s busy society are neglected, becoming home bound and isolated. These older people they help with a range of befriending and day services to ensure that they enjoy their lives and get out to make and see friends. Their work relies on the fantastic efforts of volunteers, but they need funds to keep their important work continuing.
